Hillary Haas serves as the IB PYP and General Studies Curriculum Coordinator at Hillel Community Day School. In this role, she leads the development and alignment of the school’s Gan Hillel (PreK)–8 curriculum with both New York State standards and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP). Hillary works closely with teachers across grade levels to design engaging, inquiry-based units that foster deep learning and student growth.

With a background in elementary education and a passion for curriculum design, Hillary brings creativity, clarity, and collaboration to her work. She is currently guiding Hillel through the multi-year process of IB authorization, helping to ensure that every classroom reflects the school’s mission and values.

In addition to her coordinator role, Hillary leads professional development for faculty, supporting teachers in planning, assessment, and reflective practice. Her work is grounded in a belief that students learn best when they are curious, empowered, and challenged to make meaningful connections across subjects and the world around them.
