How We Measure Growth: MAP Testing

While our curriculum is guided by the IB PYP framework, we also use MAP Growth assessments (by NWEA) to help us track and support individual student progress in reading and math.

What is MAP Testing?

MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) is a computer-adaptive assessment that adjusts to each student's learning level.

  • Administered three times a year (fall, winter, spring)

  • Provides real-time data on what students know and what they’re ready to learn next

  • Helps teachers differentiate instruction and set personalized goals

How it Supports Learning

  • Ensures students are making continuous academic growth

  • Supports individualized learning plans

  • Aligns with our mission to meet each child where they are

  • Helps us reflect on and strengthen our instructional practices

How Families Are Involved

We share MAP results with families during conferences and reporting periods so you can see your child’s progress and support learning at home.
