One of our IB Transdisciplinary themes the Pre-K will explore:
Exploring Our World Through Inquiry and Jewish Values
In our Pre-K class, children don’t just learn facts—they ask questions, make discoveries, and grow into caring, curious individuals. Through the IB Primary Years Programme, students explored the continents and the plants that grow in each one, asking: How do we care for the world Hashem gave us?
This unit combined hands-on activities like planting seeds, building a world map, and exploring push-and-pull science experiments with Hebrew vocabulary and Jewish values like Bal Tashchit (do not waste) and Shomrei Adamah (guardians of the Earth).
Each day, students deepened their understanding of how all living things are connected—and how we can take responsibility for helping our world thrive. This is what inquiry looks like in a Jewish IB school.
