Hello!  My name is David Gluck and I am the Library and Media Specialist at Hillel Community Day School. Throughout my adult life I have worn many hats, including being an educator, a professional musician, an archivist, and a teacher of meditation and philosophy. I hold an undergraduate degree from New York University in Music Composition and Performance and a master's degree from Loyola University in Education.  I also am a certified AMI Montessori teacher, a certified Yoga teacher, and a certified Mindfulness teacher.  Currently, in addition to my work at Hillel, I teach music at Submarine Music School, continue my freelance work, and participate yearly in Chautauqua Institute's Mystic Heart program where I give lectures and instruction on meditation.  I am very happy to share my love of books with the Hillel community and delight in seeing such enthusiasm around reading, and learning.  It is a joy to see the children's enthusiasm around their library time, and I am grateful to be part of this vibrant community.
