Job Opening: Director of Admissions

The Director of Admissions, inconjunction with the administrative and development staff, leads, manages and evaluates the students enrollment process - from inquiry through admissions to assimilation into the school's culture.  Along with process management, the position provides creative oversight, in keeping with the school's mission, to draw, enroll and retain mission-appropriate students.  This individual must possess a thorough understanding of a Jewish community day school philosophy of education in order to clearly articulate both what it is and what it is not. 

 

The Director also manages the design and implementation of the alumni relations program (in conjuction with the board's alumni committee), and is responsible for running programs, activities and communications that deepen the School's relationship with alumni and engage alumni in the life of the school.  The Director works with the school's development team to assist in the personal cultivation and solicitation of alumni for gifts as appropriate. 

 

With responsibility for overseeing admissions and retention, The Director manages faculty and staff and contributes to the school's integrated admissions, communications, publications, media and public relations activities.
