It’s time to head back to school for Curriculum Night!
Please join us on Wednesday, September 10th from 6:30-8:45pm What is Curriculum Night? Curriculum Night is a wonderful opportunity for parents to get to know their child(ren)’s teachers and see what a typical school day is like for the children. You will have a half-hour to spend with their General Studies and Judaic Studies teachers and 10-15 minutes to spend with each of the specialists. Meeting with each teacher will give you a chance to receive important information such as overview of the curriculum for each grade, explaining expectations and the homework procedure for each class. How do I find my way around the building? When you arrive for Curriculum Night, a map of the school will be handed out to you with the room numbers and subjects listed on them. What if I have additional questions/concerns that I need to discuss with my child’s instructor? The purpose of Curriculum Night is to provide parents with a chance to see the school and learn more about their child’s classes and learning experience. Conferences are scheduled for October 28th & 29th and will provide a chance for parents to meet one-on-one with teachers to discuss individual student needs. Time will be set aside at the end of every teacher’s meeting for general questions. If you have specific concerns pertaining to your child, please contact their instructor by email, phone or in person to set up another time to discuss them. |
